Grower: Pretreatments
Immediately after harvesting, the flower has been cut off the plant which was providing nutrients, water and hormones essential for life. These physiological conditions require addressing immediately to prepare the flower for the next stage of the distribution chain. Feeding the flower with the same product when in a foam arrangement as when it's just been harvested would mean that the flowers would develop fully and therefore dramatically reduce vase life. Similarly using a grower product in the vase would result in the flowers not developing enough; therefore it is imperative that the correct product be used at the appropriate stage in the "Chain of Life" of the flower. This ensures maximum flower quality, minimum shrink, increased profits and satisfied customers which will of course encourage repeat purchases and word of mouth advertising. Chrysal Professional #1: Is used by wholesalers and bouquet-makers for re-hydrating and conditioning. The product contains no food and as such is recommended for use between 4 - 48 hours. Our tests have proven that flowers need a minimum of 4 hours for any hydration solution to effectively work its way up the stem.

Chrysal Clear Professional #2: Is used by wholesalers, bouquet makers and retailers for shipping, storing and displaying flowers. When flowers are in ambient temperatures, this results in a higher metabolic rate (energy/food requirement for the flower). Chrysal Clear Professional #2 provides just enough food to last the sales period without over feeding or opening buds and is available in liquid concentrate or pre-dosed easy to use Chrysal T-Bags.

Chrysal Clear Professional #3: Is used by florists and bouquet makers for all vase and foam arrangements. To ensure bud opening and flower development this solution must be used only when arranging. It enhances scent, size, as well as, maintaining true bloom color and optimum vase life. Chrysal Clear Sachets are filled with this same solution for consumers. A sachet should be provided to customers with all flower sales. This will ensure maximum vase life by having consumers finalize the "Chain of Life". The Chrysal sachet also tells consumers you care for their flowers, guaranteeing repeat sales and word of mouth advertising.
